Povzetek

Prispevek predstavi akcijsko raziskavo, opravljeno v okviru mednarodnega evropskega projekta Grundtvig. Izvorni nemški model gledališkega dela smo v Sloveniji − partnerski deželi poleg Poljske, Islandije, Malte in Španije − spremenili in teoretsko nadgradili. Projekt smo usmerili v druge ciljne skupine. Namesto z brezposelnimi odraslimi smo projekt razvijali skozi aktivno sodelovanje skupine študentk socialne pedagogike, mladih iz programa PUM (projektno učenje mladih) in mladih z izkušnjo duševne stiske.

Abstract

The article deals with an action research carried out within the international EU project - Grundtvig. The intention of the project was to disseminate knowledge and experience of theatre as a social-integration method. The original German model has been in Slovenia – the partner country among Poland, Iceland, Malta and Spain – modified and theoretically elaborated. The project was focused on different target groups. Instead by the unemployed grownups the research was developed through an active participation of the group of social pedagogy students, the young from the PUM project (Project learning of the young) and the young with the experience of mental health problems. The motto of our work was - a distinction as an opportunity. The theoretical basis of the Slovenian model is an interweave of three equal segments – the social pedagogy emphasizing the group process, the legacy of the „Third theatre“ highlighting the body as an element of expression and the use of puppetry and other means of expression – poetry, music and performance. Though the key emphasis of the project is the creative process the final outcome is the original theatre performance. The present contribution is understood as the first theoretical and organizational presentation of this innovative project in Slovenia. Also introduced in addition to the theoretical basis and the realization there are the distinctive contributions by the members of the project group originating in the creative and the group processes – poetry, notions, photographs.

Key words: youth, social integration, art-socio-pedagogical project, action research, theatre, performance, puppets.

Abstract

The phenomenon of supporting a sports team as a fan is nowadays being more and more recognized as a complex and important issue. Despite contemporary promotion of gender equality the dominant masculine discourse still prevails in the heart of supporting sports teams and anything feminine seems hard to assert there. This article presents results of a pilot research on the status and role of women in this sphere, the characteristics and particularities of female interests for supporting sports teams, and on circumstances and reasons that lead women to such a leisure activity. At the end the authors discuss the possible elements of female emancipation in such activities.

Key words: supporting a sports team, gender, women, social status.

Ranljivost mladih pri soočanju z brezposelnostjo Vulnerability of young people facing unemployment

Abstract

In modern society essential changes are occurring in the ways in which young people are joining the labour market and finding employment. These transitions are becoming more complex and varied than in the past. The abandonment of the concept of full employment is leading to rising uncertainty over the process of becoming independent and joining the workforce. This article draws attention to the growing problem of unemployment among young people, reviews the literature on the concept of social exclusion and focuses on the link between unemployment and the risks of marginalisation and social exclusion among the young. It also presents a number of conclusions and empirical findings from studies looking at the situation of unemployed young people. These studies show that an accumulation of unfavourable experiences in relation to unemployment leads young people into economic deprivation and social isolation and into development of mental health problems. The conclusions indicate that we must pay attention to both the structural and subjective/biographic aspects of the position of young people, and monitor the various factors and processes of social exclusion and integration of young people joining the labour market and finding employment.

Key words: youth, unemployment, social exclusion.
